CONGRATULATIONS SENIORS!!

In addition, students from both campuses were named as their program's Student of the Year. From the Prince George's County campus, Antoine Carter was named Student of the Year while Greg Raspberry was named Senior of the Year and Angela Berrian was named as the Most Improved Student.

From the Virginia campus, Quante Coleman was named as the Elementary Student of the Year and Zakat Norris was named as the Secondary Student of the Year.

Ms. Brancheau, Program Director at Leary School, Prince George's County, and Ms. Creo, Director of Programs for Lincolnia Educational Foundation, Inc. gave the graduation address and offered the exiting students a blueprint for success and encouraged them to be "peacemakers" in their communities and homes. The graduates were reminded that, as Leary School students, they have been taught how to solve problems verbally, how to generate solutions and how to resolve conflicts. Ms. Brancheau and Ms. Creo encouraged these students, along with all the students, to use these skills in their daily lives.

Following this ceremony, the graduates and their families shared a picnic lunch with staff from both campuses and several of the representatives from the various referring agencies in the pavilion at the park.
